A yufin employee in front of a sari-sari store.

Saturdays are “be the customer” days in the field for our yufin team.

1. Location, location, location.

One of our super users a.k.a. Powersuki located at the corner of a side-road does 3X the business of a 50% larger store just 20 metres down that side-road.

2. Human connect matters. It builds trust faster. Our key accounts salesperson managing our super users (Powersuki) gave a small, personalized memento last week to his Powersukis.

Average orders from these merchants went up 10% this week. An understanding human who listens to you and solves a few problems, works better than a discount or an app notification sometimes.

But weekly ordering will no longer mean dictating each item and entering it one by one in the yufin app, taking fifteen minutes, in two weeks from now.

The sales ambassadors will be spending more than ten minutes solving problems, advising and guiding how to grow their business, and less than five on the weekly ordering. Stay tuned!

3. Am not alone as an Indian building in this growing market. Even on empty suburban roads outside the city, there is a Bajaj and a TVS to give us company. They’ve been here much longer.

4. From Jollibee to jalebi. You can find anything if you know where to look. Treated the team to fresh, crispy jalebis.
