You may have heard of O2O commerce. What is offline e-commerce?

Offline e-commerce sounds specious at first. It’s how we solved for salespersons of our partner distributors who go out in the provinces for a week at a time with their vans, and used to sell what they could, to who they could, wherever they could.

Many a times they had no data connectivity for half a day on their sales trips. They relied on IKEA style laminated physical sales catalogs, only 10 times heavier!

Now, they are using the yufin app to sell more. Items from merchants’ past orders, bestsellers and the “golden basket” for each merchant type are available even offline in their yufin app in the yuOrder catalog.

So the distributors’ salespersons can sell to more merchants without worrying about data connectivity on their phones, and can get these offline baskets counted for their sales quota. The offline baskets synch smoothly with the backend whenever they get data connectivity, and these orders get placed.
